As Meraki Labs continues to co-build across its portfolio, we're looking for a QA Tester (Manual & AI-Assisted) to help ensure the products we build across our portfolio companies are reliable, high-quality, and ready for real users — blending hands-on manual testing rigor with modern AI-assisted tools.

Role Overview

We're looking for a QA Tester with 2–5 years of experience who is comfortable executing manual test cycles while also leveraging AI-powered testing tools (e.g., AI test generation, self-healing automation, visual regression with AI, LLM-based test case creation) to improve test coverage and efficiency. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers across portfolio companies to ensure every release meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases for web/mobile applications across functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory testing

• Use AI-assisted testing tools to generate test cases, identify edge cases, and accelerate regression testing

• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Linear, or similar bug-tracking systems

• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify bug fixes

• Perform API testing using tools like Postman

• Contribute to test plans, test strategies, and acceptance criteria during sprint planning

• Evaluate and pilot new AI-based QA tools to continuously improve testing efficiency and coverage

• Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and compatibility testing

• Participate in release readiness reviews and sign-off processes

• Maintain clear, structured test documentation (test cases, test plans, bug reports)

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC

• Experience writing clear, structured test cases and bug reports

• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools or a strong willingness to learn and adopt them (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Functionize, ChatGPT/Claude for test case generation, or similar)

• Working knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)

• Basic understanding of API testing

• Good understanding of web/mobile application architecture

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Good to Have

• Exposure to basic automation scripting

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Familiarity with prompt engineering for AI-based test generation

• Basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation

• Experience testing AI/ML-powered products or features
