We store almost nothing.

Only what you type in yourself.

• Job alerts: your email address, and the city and role family you picked, so we know what to send you.
• Post a job: your email address, and the company and role details you fill in.
• Suggest a company: the company name and careers link, plus your email if you choose to give one.
• Feedback: only your answers. No email, no name, nothing that points back to you.

That is everything we ask you for. We never ask for your resume, and readers do not need an account, so there is no password of yours anywhere on this site.

On your first visit, a small box asks whether we can use Google Analytics. Until you choose “Accept analytics”, it doesn’t load: no Google script and no Google cookies. “Only necessary” keeps it that way.

If you say yes, Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser. It records the pages you open and a few actions: the city, company or job you look at, the filters you use, when you click through to an employer to apply, the news links you open, and whether the Post a job form was started and sent. It never gets what you type. Search words, email addresses and form answers stay out. Google’s advertising features and Google Signals are switched off.

Changed your mind? Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Saying no switches analytics off and deletes the Google Analytics cookies from this site. We ask again after a year.

A few small notes stay in your own browser, not on our servers: your answer to the analytics box, the last city you looked at (so Job alerts can start on it), when you last opened the jobs page (so we can tell you how many roles are new since then), and whether you answered or closed the feedback survey. None of it is sent to us or to Google. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes all of it.

When you send a form, your IP address sits in the server’s memory for up to a minute, so a script cannot flood us with fake submissions. It is never written to the database and never attached to anything you sent.

Anything stored online sits on somebody’s machines, so our hosting and database providers can technically reach what is there. Nobody else can. Once job alerts start sending, the mail provider will see the address it is delivering to. Your address is never sold, rented, swapped, or handed to an employer.

Our hosting provider adds its own small script to every page. It records page visits and loading speed, and sets a cookie that lasts 30 minutes. It runs whatever you pick in the analytics box, because it comes with the hosting rather than from us. The map is drawn from OpenFreeMap tiles, and company logos load from the company’s own site or a public icon service, so those services see your IP address when your browser fetches them.

Alert addresses stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Submissions and suggestions stay for a year, so we can tell whether a company has already been looked at. Feedback holds nothing personal, so it stays.

You can ask what we hold about you. You can ask us to fix it or delete it. Write to nirdisha.in@gmail.com, and deletion happens the same day we read the mail. We write back to confirm. You do not have to give a reason.

Listings and company details come from employers’ own public careers pages. They hold no personal data about you.
