About the role
Konovo is a global healthcare intelligence company on a mission to transform research through technology — enabling faster, better, connected insights.
Konovo provides healthcare organisations with access to over 2 million healthcare professionals and patients — the largest network of its kind globally. With a workforce of over 200 employees across five countries, including India, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and the United States, we collaborate to support some of the most prominent names in healthcare. Our customers include over 300 global pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, research agencies, and consulting firms.
Our Whitefield-based team is our innovation hub and a critical part of how we build and scale globally. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting Konovo’s core accounting operations, month-end close process, financial reporting, reconciliations, project accounting, and process improvement initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who has built a strong accounting foundation and is ready to take greater ownership in a fast-moving, global environment. You will be expected to operate with accuracy, sound judgment, and a high degree of accountability while partnering closely with Finance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across the business.
You will help ensure our financial data is accurate, timely, and reliable, while also identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support scalable financial operations as Konovo continues to grow.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Own key components of the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded with appropriate documentation, classification, and approval.
- Own the contractor invoicing process, including coordination with internal teams and contractors to ensure timely, accurate billing and expense recognition.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, including payment application, vendor balance management, aging review, and issue resolution.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations, proactively investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Support project accounting by creating and maintaining project records, validating revenue data, and ensuring accuracy within Sage Intacct.
- Track, reconcile, and analyze prepaid balances, incentive-related accounts, accruals, and other recurring accounting areas.
- Prepare working papers, schedules, and data analysis to support monthly financial reporting, leadership review, audits, and compliance needs.
- Partner with Finance leadership on financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global stakeholders to ensure financial information is clear, accurate, complete, and actionable.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and increase efficiency through better systems, documentation, and automation.
- Support ad hoc accounting, reporting, and finance projects as the business continues to scale.
